"Wells House is a Community Involvement Theme House founded in the spring of 1994 at Union College by a group of eleven students who shared the collective goal of successful theme living that simultaneously contributes to the Union and Capital District community."
-from the Preamble to the Wells House Constitution
My name is Melissa Sullivan and I am the Wells House Manager for the 1999-2000 school
year. I would like to encourage students and prospectives to explore everything Wells House has to offer. Our goal is simple, as stated in the preamble to our house constitution: community involvement at Union and in the Capital District. Our house founders wanted something more from a school like Union, and there's more to college than meets the eye. Through Wells House, our
residents and members fully realize the college's place within surrounding Schenectady and the vital role that Union students play in our surroundings.
There's so much more to Union College...as much beyond the gates as within. We invite you to find out more about Wells House and what we can do for and with you. Whether you're a current student looking to join or get involved with Wells House or a prospective student who wants to find out more about us, please stop over at any time, call me at x6699, or e-mail me at sullivm3@idol.union.edu.
