Virus Help

These files will help you remove the worm that has been spreading around campus. Here are the directions:

1. Download the following files: Stinger.exe
                                                Windows2000patch.exe (for windows 2000)
                                                WindowsXPpatch.exe (for windows XP)

2. Unplug your network cable from your computer
3. Run “Stinger.exe” to remove the worm.
4. Install the Windows XP/2000 patch*

* Not sure which file to click on to install the patch?
If you have Windows 2000, click the file named “Windows2000patch.exe”.
If you have Windows XP, click the file named “WindowsXPpatch.exe”.
