- Welcome to the UCARE web site. UCARE, located in
room 404 of the Reamer Campus Center, is a
clearinghouse for volunteer opportunities in and
around Schenectady (as well as summer and
post-graduate service nationally or
internationally). Serving the many students and
organizations already active in the community,
local agencies that need volunteers, and those
looking for ways to get involved, UCARE links
campus and community more efficiently than in the
past. Use it to resarch volunteer opportunities
that fit your interests and schedule, as a work
space for your group when preparing or
publicizing a service project, and as a place to
meet others committed to social service. UCARE
will eventually be open every weekday from 2 to
