U Sustain

U Sustain is a committee comprised of environmentally and socially concerned faculty, staff, and students at Union College. Our goal is to constantly reduce the ecological footprint of Union College and make the institution more sustainable. As an institution of higher education, we believe this is our responsibility.

In particular, the committee will look at ways to measure our environmental progress, including our carbon footprint; find solutions to campus environmental problems; improve the campus structure to minimize environmental impact; educate the campus community about ways to help and sustainability initiatives; and help make sure Union is constantly working toward a more sustainable campus and community.
