The PIV software makes really pretty pictures from the data it gathers. The program can automatically create an image of the flow that depicts velocity, streamlines, or both. The actual values of velocity given on the diagrams are specific to the model, but the relative magnitudes of speed will be the same for a full size car.

CFD produces similar representations of velocity, and because it is a prediction of what happens, the software can also make a conjecture on the pressure distrubution. The important thing to remember is these images are not what the flow actually looks like, but what StarWorks believes the air should be doing.
