Philanthropy

The Gamma Zeta chapter of Sigma Chi is very active on and off campus. We run many events per trimester that generate money for philanthropic causes. In the past three years we have raised close to $10,000 for miscellaneous charities. A list of past events include:

• Blood drives for the Red Cross
• Organ donor awareness event (signed up people to become organ donors)
• Tutoring at Yates Elementary School
• Derby Days (a week of multiple events that raise money for the Children's Miracle Network)
• Car Wash, all proceeds went to the Sunrise Children's Foundation
• Among others
