![]() Battlestar Galactica Episode Commentary Awaiting additional episodes. These commentaries, which begin toward the end of Season 1 (Episodes 109-113) and continues into Season 2 (save for Episode 203), Season 3, and now Season 4, give a revealing look at the world of science fiction television. It is assumed that one 1) is watching the episode during the commentary and 2) has seen the episode at least once before (as spoilers abound). It bears repeating, Battlestar Galactica, which does recap at the beginning of each episode, is more or less temporally sequential for the first two seasons. That is, episode X should be seen before episode Y. The miniseries, though technically the pilot “movie” for the series, is not essential in this mix as the entirety of it is recounted during the opening credits. A must listen for any BSG fan. There are gaps in early Season 4 due to Ronald D. Moore’s efforts in the WGA strike. Probable time involvement: 1 hour per episode. |

Awaiting additional episodes. Unlike the content of Podiobooks.com or any of the other literary podcasts, “Children Of The Gods” is a podioplay in the style of the old radio plays. Replete with sound effects, multiple voice narration, and action, COTG is a worthwhile podcast to listen to. While not required, I would suggest that anyone wishing to begin listening to this podcast should first watch “Independence Day” as COTG elaborates on what happens after the events of ID4. Though only 8 episodes have been released since its launch in December 2005, the story continues to be engaging. In the most recent episodes, Nova Squadron commander, Master Pilot Captain Kevin Corval has gained a new “friend” in a Tarthet defector, whom he has named Fido. Probable time involvement: 45 minutes per episode. |

The official podcast of 365 Tomorrow, “Voices of Tomorrow” intends to podcast one of the daily flash fictions of 365 Tomorrows every week. 365 Tomorrows started August 1, 2005, but “Voices of Tomorrow” started January 1, 2006. The set of authors and the set of readers are one in the same, though usually not during the same episode. Probable time involvement: 2 days. |
