HISTORY of the ZODIAC Tribe

The Sun, Moon, & Earth are our parents, the Zodiacs are their parents. They watch, wait and listen and only help when called upon. They perfer order in their universe but will let lesser beings take their own paths. How ever distructive or enlightening that may be.

From the dawn of time the zodiac has been a constant guardian of all that is present in the realm. Be it a tiny little cave wurm larve or the great Fire Drake, or a newly exiled Halfling or a Vetran Ghorak Zo, they watch us all. Help guide us to our destiny. They are there for us they encumpas the wide variety of emotions, actions and belifs of this universe. There was a time when people turned from the Zodiacs, thinking that they had abandoned us. People were wrong, they did not abandon us, we the races of the universe abondoned them. We forgot about them, erased them from our history. Rulers of vast realms and kingdoms have aided in this creating a sole "Diety" to enslave the people. To make them subserviant and loyal. (the most recent addition to the list is Emperor Mobius of the Ascendancy)

For many centuries before the Ascendancy and Darshak Therocacy the inhabatants of the realm, altho greatful and worshiping of their mothers the Earth Moon and Sun. They saw the greater picture of the Zodiacs, the order of all things. They practiced their beliefs without fear or abandoned until the opression of the Darshaks, then followed by the Ascendancy. These times were deadly and dark for the Zodiacs many of their followers were destroyed and persecuted, and by the time of the start of the exile most were all but thought dead. The Zodiacs being wise and patient knew that the time for a "rebirth" would soon be at hand. And that basically catches us up to the present.

Now out of the chaos and fear caused by the exile, a resurgance has begun. For many years the Zodiacs have been awaiting messangers to spread their ideals, and that time has come. . .

... Reflections of Mystic Healer

Greetings Friends, the events of the last few days have been somewhat amazing, and enlightening. Altho at first it may be hard to believe me trust me when I say "I once felt as you do now!". It all started about a month ago, i was out for a walk, i decided to take a walk through tangle woods to pick some flowers. You all konw how I love the smell of peratheria in the evening, their scent is so sweet, Ahh forgive me for digressing too much, back to my story. Well it was at this time I decided to bend down and pick an exceptionally beautiful peratheria I saw. I had barley plucked the flower from the ground and it seemed, as if by magic, to open into an even fuller boom. As it opened a beautiful, purple, sparkeling powder arose from it intoxicating me, it was almost euphoric

The next thing I knew when I opened my eyes I was in a place that I could only describe as "Magical". There were stars, chasing eachother around my head, which upon closer scrutiny, were beautiful sprites of gold skin and hair. When they saw me studying them they stopped, giggled then flew around some more. At my feet i felt something nudge my shoulder, i turned to find what looked like a cross beween a Horse and a butterfly, barley 3 inches tall but with wings that shimmered like a rainbow reflected upon the water. There were aslo burst of light all around, each one seemed alive in some manner, dont ask me how. Looking down at my feet I seemed to be standing on air. And when I squinted my eyes I could have swon I saw a planet in the distance. Just then I heard what could only be described as a twinkling sound, and I popped my head up, before me there were 12 glowing shapes which were circling each other in a mystical frency. From them came what looked like a Goat but with a wierd fish like tail , He spoke.. "greetings!, I am Capricorn, I speak for the Zodiacs, Welcome child to our home" Not sure of what to do next I curtsied and replied saying "I am most honered". He spoke again

"You need not speak, only listen. We have waited patiently for a sutiable messanger to come to us. We want you to act as our messanger. To spread our belifs to all you can. We want not to control you, but to help you, in this time of chaos. Those that "think" they run the world have long abondoned us, we do not miss them, but konw there are many that would embrace us. Through your deeds and thoughts you have proven yourself to Us" "So from here you will go back and teach others that order is the way to freedom from your opressors. Equality is the true nature of life, Dwarf has as much rite to life as a Sylvan. Good as well as evil it part of the natural balance of things, it is those that strive to disrupt that balance that are truly wrong, and above all things Truth it paramount, honesty is gold" "no go child, and remember what you've heard, and fare thee well"

Just then to my surprise I awoke with a pile of ashes in my hand, initally i thought "oh Great!, now no one will believe me" but then I remembered the words of Capricorn" above all things Truth it paramount, honesty is gold". and I thought to myself"if they dont believe me then they would not make good companions anyways." So after talking to a few people I soon got the feeling that many wouldnt believe me. I was initally disapointed, but then i ran into a longtime friend named Kingpin who quickly enbraced my story as the truth. So together we decided that to better help spread the word of th zdias we should creat a "Tribe" and draw up a charter that all members would sign. We decided all would be equal, cept for training and degree of enforcement of the charter. I will act as a member of the council of Advisement but we will have various races and professions on the council. (once membership increases)that will guide the tribe to greater order. Hence the Zodiac Tribe is born.
