Daniel Harkenrider is a resident of Duanesburg, New York, a short distance west of Schenectady. He enjoys engaging in hiking, shooting and other outdoor activities in the rural area in which he lives. At Union College, he serves as a leader of the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He also enjoys reading any interesting book he can obtain.

Daniel’s fields of interest within electrical engineering include RF communications and power and energy. For his senior project, he is working on noise reduction and receiver sensitivity for an amateur radio repeater.

After graduating from college, Daniel looks forward to putting his knowledge to use in a military or civilian career.
