We are the brothers of the Theta Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon (ΔKE) in Schenectady, New York and are part of the proud history of Greek life at Union College. We are a newly established Chapter of ΔKE, but have a long history as the Chi Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (founded 1893).

Our mission as Dekes has three major facets: to improve ourselves, improve each other and improve our environment. Our aim is that, after our tenure here, we may look back as better individuals with the knowledge that we have helped develop improvement in our fellow brethren, the Union campus and the Schenectady community at large. This dedication to improvement forges lifelong bonds with each other. In the bonds of Brotherhood is not for college days alone.

Above all else, we are a Brotherhood. Our friendship truly is, and always will be, the sweetest influence.
