"Delta Gamma to Close"

Dear Union College,

With heavy hearts the sisters of Delta Gamma regret to inform you that on April 7, 2000 our national voted to close our chapter. The reasoning behind their action was Epsilon Alpha Chapter’s (Union College chapter’s) inability over a period of time to meet recruitment quotas. Due to our low membership numbers, our national feels that a Delta Gamma chapter at Union College is no longer viable. We, the sisters of Epsilon Alpha Chapter, do not agree with this decision but are cooperating with the rules and regulations of our national sorority.

We will continue to support the Greek system at Union college. If there are any concerns or questions, we request that they be addressed to the Delta Gamma mailbox (1096) or e-mailed to dgamma@vu.union.edu. In closing, we would like to thank the community of Union College for its support throughout the last twenty-two years.
