Sports In The Lodge

Sports play an important role in the life of the Brothers of Alpha Pi. This year 10 brothers have competed or are competing on various Union varsity teams with great success. However sports is not only for the serious competitor as this year Chi Psi has perhaps had their best showing in intramural sports as well. With the year not over it looks like it will be another great year of sports in the lodge.

Playing in his second season as the starting place kicker, Cliff Eisenhut was a key part of the Union Football teams success. Cliff connected on 16 of 21 field goal attempts and 18 of 19 point-after attempts to lead the Dutchmen in scoring for the second consecutive season. He was six of eight in field goals of 40 yards or longer, converting twice each at distances of 42 and 43 yards. These statistics were good enough to earn him UCAA Special Teams Player of The Year as well as an honorable mention All American award.
