Our Mission

Since Bronner House's establishment in 1985, we have worked  to Diversify and Unite the Union College Campus. Part of our goal is to raise awareness in this campus of all the different cultures and ethnic groups that make  up the Union College Community.  Bronner House allows others to learn about cultures and customs.   In doing this, it educates the campus in a way that no class room can.  Only the experience that a House like Bronner represents to those that live in it and to those that use it's services and resources can be valued as the true cultural enlightening experience.

House Profile

Bronner House, known as a the Multicultural Center, is a small coed house consisting of 9 spacious dormitory rooms and housing a  total of 15 students.  We are located next to Breazzano House(Orange House) and Next to the Addmissions office.  Our members are all come from different cultural and academic backgrounds.  We encompass a variety of majors and interests as well as a number of different cultures and customs that come together in harmony as we learn what each of us has to share.  Being a part of Bronner House gives a student the feeling of "home away from home" that one so very much needs when away from family. The members of Bronner House work not only at sharing their culture, but also at being a family.

Open to the Community

Bronner House is always open to the Community.  Our Library, recently reorganize by our members, is always open to those with a need for a clean and quiet place to study.  Our Kitchen is open to those with the culinary talent of  cooking and to those that might feel the need to make a dish from home.  The kitchen is also open during the time when "Taste of the Tropics" comes around and all of those  that are willing to participate in this wonderful multicultural event are more than welcome to cook their dishes in our kitchen.  We also open the Bronner House lounge  to all organizations that need a place to hold their meetings or events.
