Summary of Qualifications

Bachelor's of Science in Physics from Union College. Senior Thesis/Research Project: Resonant Light Scattering Light Scattering in Composite Media due to Reststrahlen Effects. Research included Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy, cryogenic techniques (liquid He temperatures), machining parts, mathematical modelling and vacuum techniques. Research results were presented at the American Physical Society March Meeting (1996). Six years experience as a U.S. Navy trained Nuclear Machinist's Mate in hazardous materials, instructing, mechanical maintenance, nuclear power plant operation, quality control, radiological controls, and water chemistry. One year of technical managment experience.
