This is a small collection of some of my art. I like to refer to these still pieces as digital art. I am progressing as an artist and constantly refining my skills. I create large compositions for art but also do small and detailed images such as logos. If you would like to contact me about making an image to incorporate into your web site or purchasing a print of any of these pieces please check the contact page.

Parisian Skyline
I didn't have a tripod with me when I visited Paris on my term abroad this fall but wanted to grab a nice panoramic shot of the city from atop the Arch de Triomphe. I used photoshop to stitch six photos together that I took on top of the arch. Winter 2007.

Graffiti Sketch
I really liked one of the photos I took of a friend in a courtyard when visiting Paris on my term abroad as it was right next to a wall full of funky graffiti. I made some modifications to it, paying homage to some of the great art I witnessed in Europe. I think I may try another variation on the piece eventually. Winter 2007.

Rebuilding Iraq
I took some photos from Iraq and did major edits to them to create new pieces entirely. I was so pleased with the first image that I decided to do a series of them. Spring/Summer 2006.

Digital Landscape
This was created for digital art class. The assignment was to try and represent your idea of the digital landscape in a composition, and do 3 variations of it. I tried to use the idea that the landscape was all interconnected below the surface kind of like the web. Fall 2005.

Pills
I decided it would look cool to make a collage of pills but struggled finding a lot of different pills to put on the collage. Originally I was going to attempt to create the pills in photoshop but found it difficult to come up with good looking pills. Also filling up a large canvas with them was more difficult than expected. After I finished I attempted to animate it but realized that it wouldn't look good unless it was either a really small image or converted to flash. I plan to re-attempt the animation process later. Fall 2005.

Glass
I took an image of something blue and distorted it a bunch until it looked really cool and then I tried to make some words that looked like they were glass on top of it. I was experimenting with the liquify effect but I was pleased with how the image came out looking. Fall 2005.

Rachel Hunter
More fun with the liquify effect. Took a picture of Rachel Hunter and played around with it a bunch to make it look sweet. Fall 2005.

Surf Sketch
Took a picture that I had of me surfing and took out all the surrounding people in it. Then I tried to make it look like a pink sunset on the horizon. My attempts to import a sun into the picture were pretty poor so I decided to leave it out. It came out looking kind of cool though.
Winter 2006.
