Using Windows Networking to access your files
In most cases, this will only work when on campus and connected to ResNet.
Step 1: Open the location
Use Address \\samba.vu.union.edu\yourUserName
where the "yourUserName" part is your Virtual U login name.
On Windows, you can go to Start->Run to type in this address.
On Mac OS X, you can use the "Connect to Server" feature in the Finder.
Step 2: Enter your username/password
You may be prompted to enter your username and password.
Step 3: Use your files
You can now use your remote file space as if it were a folder
on your local machine.
